Relaxing as a couple within reach
You can’t miss a sunset on the beach when the sun hides behind the Rocca and its promontory, creating incredible light play and reflections of a thousand shades. Furthermore on the beach you’ll find a bar, with comfortable relax area, where you can have a coffe, snack or in the evening an appetizer or cocktail with view of the sea, truly unique. At restaurant Mama our competent staff will recommend you delicious dishes of the typical Tuscan cuisine, accompanied by excellent local wines.
Inlets and villages to discover on the weekend
Between Punta Ala and Follonica, inside the nature reserve of the Bandite di Scarlino, only a half hour drive by car, you’ll find the enchanting Violina bay, in the incontaminated nature, surrounded by typical mediterranean vegetation, one of the most beautiful beaches of the Tuscan coast.
The white granular sand, made up of tiny grains of quartz, emits a particular sound, similar to that of a violin, hence the name, if you’re fortunate to find the right quiet, you’ll hear this sound walking along the beach.
We recommend you dedicate one day to a food and wine tour, a truly special way to get to know and appreciate a region renowned for her excellencies. The route of Tastes, Smells and the Enchanting, extends through the communities of Scansano, Magliano, Capalbio, Semproniano, Roccalbegna, and Campagnatico, where the love for the loand and her centuries-old tradition give birth to the precious products like the Tuscan Pecorino DOP, the honey, the valued extra vergin Tuscan olive oil IGP and the most well-known of the Tuscan wines, the Morellino di Scansano DOCG.
You’ll be intoxicated by the goodness and much else you’ll have the chance to discover, all you have to do is leave.
