Direct access to the marvelous Rocchette beach
Between Castiglione della Pescaia and Punta Ala, in this stretch of the Tyrrhenian coast, lies the Rocchette beach, one of the most popular beaches on the Tuscan coast. The coast is of very fine golden sand. Surrounded by a centuries-old green pine forest and dominated from above by the Torre delle Rocchette, an ancient 12th-century fortification.
Here on the beach you will find a free part of the beach and an equipped part and a fantastic beach bar, with a relaxation area where you can relax for a coffee, a refreshing drink, a lunch break or a pleasant aperitif at sunset. The water is clear and crystalline, the transparent seabed makes it perfect, as well as for fantastic refreshing dives, to have fun observing the underwater world with snorkeling and diving.
You can rent the necessary equipment and take private lessons, be accompanied by qualified instructors and discover a world made of multicolored posidonia, gorgonians, seahorses, colorful fish with a thousand iridescent shades, to live a unique experience.
Camping area with shaded pitches
In our campsite, the pitches for tents, campers and caravans are immersed in a luxuriant green pine forest and are all shaded, equipped with electricity, modern central blocks for toilets, hot water and showers without tokens, coin-operated washing machines and dryers, free wi-fi network, private outdoor parking, convenient dishwashing area.
For the most demanding we have 20 comfort pitches equipped with direct electricity connection and direct water loading and unloading system. We also offer the possibility of renting a caravan, they consist of a double bedroom, a bunk bed and an external veranda with table and chairs, fridge, gas stove and cupboard with crockery, they can accommodate up to five people. Running water and toilets with hot showers without tokens are available in the central blocks.
Inside the campsite there is a mini market stocked with excellent local and fresh daily gastronomic products and a bazaar for all the daily needs of camping life. One of the novelties of this year, we offer you the opportunity to live an unforgettable experience accompanied by an Environmental Hiking Guide, you will be able to discover this wonderful corner of Tuscany, the Maremma, its landscapes, its beauties, its history, retracing paths ancients slowly following your step.
We organize excursions for different levels of preparation, from the tourist level to that for expert hikers, to discover parks and nature reserves such as the Maremma Regional Park or the Diaccia Botrona Oasis or walks in the archaeological areas such as archeotrekking in the Etruscan necropolis of Poggio Tondo or to discover ancient ruins such as the Hermitage of San Guglielmo di Malavalle and the Lost Castle of Maus.
In your suitcase this year, in addition to swimsuit and slippers, you will also have to put a backpack and trekking shoes, you will not regret it!
