Camping Village Santapomata is completely immersed in a splendid naturalistic setting, a green and luxuriant centuries-old pine forest, a beach of fine golden sand, with a large shoreline, a crystalline sea with gently sloping seabed. Here you can spend your beach holiday indulging in a few days of complete relaxation, the pitches for campers, caravans and tent places are completely shaded, there are central blocks for toilets with showers, dishwashing area, coin-operated washing machines and dryers, campers service, private outdoor parking and free wi-fi.
Comfort pitches are also available for campers and caravans, with direct electricity connection and direct water drainage and filling. To reach the beach you will have to walk along a shaded avenue, on foot you will reach the fantastic Rocchette beach, partly free and partly equipped, in the latter you will also find a fantastic bar overlooking the sea with a relaxation area.
Cycling on vacation
A classic, whether you are an amateur cycle or an expert cyclist, the Maremma is full of very varied paths and routes, you can discover the dense woods or pedal gently on the coast, launch yourself into breathtaking descents or cross the Tuscan countryside, among olive groves, vineyards and wheat fields . A varied landscape where you can give free rein to your desire for sport, excursions and tours are organized but you can also go on your own, there are many marked trails.
Inside our campsite at Bagnoli Bike, our bike point, you can rent different types of bikes, the most common and comfortable city bike also available in the pedal assisted version, also suitable for traveling around or to reach the beach or the center of Castiglione della Pescaia. For enthusiasts, the more technical MTBs are available to have fun with cross country, freeride and enduro, also in the MTB e-bike version. You just have to participate in one of the fantastic tours.
The most popular are the Wine Tours, mostly flat routes through the Tuscan countryside with the possibility of tasting typical products and wine at local farms. Or for those seeking adrenaline try the Tour delle Miniere, a track with breathtaking descents, parabolic curves, curves and counter-curves, truly spectacular single tracks.
Water sports: windsurfing, surfing, sailing, kite surfing, sup and canoeing
If water is your element you are in the right place here you can dive, paddle, let yourself be carried by the wind, go down the river, ride a wave, you are spoiled for choice. Directly on the beach you can rent equipment for surfing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, take private, individual or group lessons and with the optimal sea and wind conditions start having fun.
You can also try sup and canoe, glide gently on the water, to reach the open sea or the nearby coves and small pristine beaches, no particular physical preparation is necessary. Are you passionate about diving? Do you prefer mask and snorkel? No problem, contact the Diving Center offering equipment rental and private courses with excursions and you will discover the Maremma at the bottom of the sea, a variegated underwater world, inhabited by algae, colorful fish, one of the most fascinating stretches of coast in the Mediterranean.
And for an even more dynamic experience, try soft rafting, safely experience the thrill of descending the Ombrone river on a rubber dinghy, between gentle descents interspersed with small rapids that cross woods and forests, a sport suitable for everyone, even for beginners, pure fun!
